One common cause is low power-steering fluid. When the power steering fluid is low, any type of steering other than center will produce a squealing noise. Check the fluid and replace it if necessary. Often this simple fix is all that is needed. Occasionally, contaminated steering fluid can also cause this problem. Fluid can be contaminated with dirt and debris. Additionally, a failing power-steering pump could be the cause of the noise. You can check and add power steering fluid yourself, but if this does not fix the issue, contact Hercules Tire & Auto Repair for a more thorough inspection and fix. Steering Problems>>

Our technician can identify the problem and recommend a repair.
When the steering wheel housing rubs against interior trim, in hot weather, it can cause problems. Visit the dealer or a body shop in this case.
