BG Ultra-Guard® LS Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant provides the ultimate in simplicity and ease when servicing for drive line components, especially those requiring limited slip function.
API GL-5 Hypoid ring and pinion gear sets, operating under high load with positive traction clutch packs or “on demand” limited slip function, are used in many front and rear axle drivelines. For proper function many of these units require the final lubricant to contain both a GL-5 lubricant and a fully active limited slip additive.
Together these two finished lubricants provide the designed drive performance and protection needed by the gears. Standard practice has been to add these two lubricants together individually, usually from separate sources. This can leave open the possibility of improper treat ratios, possibly creating inferior driveline performance and protection. Stocking these separate lubricant containers also created excessive inventory.
BG Ultra-Guard® LS Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant contains all the necessary ingredients required for API GL-5 rated gear applications, and also those requiring the addition of limited slip chemistry for positive traction, or “on demand” driveline systems.
As a full synthetic SAE 75W-90 API GL-5 gear lubricant, it is designed for severe service operation in both extreme heat and arctic cold conditions. BG Ultra-Guard® LS Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant is formulated for unsurpassed durability by providing improved seal conditioning, quieter operation and dependable protection. It is a universal product for all SAE 75W-90 API GL-5 lubricant applications.

BG Ultra-Guard® LS Heavy Duty provides the ultimate in simplicity and ease when servicing for driveline components, especially those requiring limited slip function.
BG Ultra-Guard® LS Heavy Duty is formulated for unsurpassed durability by providing improved seal conditioning, quieter operation and dependable protection.
BG Ultra-Guard® Heavy Duty with LSII is a synthetic (Polyalphaolefin) API GL-5 rated gear oil blended to SAE 75W-140 viscosity. It satisfies all requirements for posi-traction and limited slip hypoid gears. No additive is required! New polymer-free technology extends oil life and virtually eliminates viscosity loss.

BG Syncro Shift® II is a specially formulated gear lubricant designed for front wheel drive manual transmissions. It reduces maintenance costs by improving thermal stability, low-temperature fluidity, and shear stability while providing smoother shifting and improved seal compatibility.
Automatic transmission fluid and other light lubricants are often recommended for use in transfer case, manual transmission, and trans-axle applications. Because these fluids are light viscosity, low film strength fluids they do not fully protect all components. Manual transmissions and trans-axle applications induce severe fluid shearing, greatly sacrificing wear protection.
BG Syncro Shift® II Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant is a professional-use product designed for manual transmissions, trans-axles and transfer cases. It provides unmatched film strength, wear protection, exceptional mechanical shearing resistance, and excellent low temperature fluidity. All this without sacrificing any performance characteristics.

BG Ultra-Guard® Heavy Duty provides the ultimate protection for driveline components. Specifically designed for heavy duty and commercial vehicles, it has superior thermal stability, smoother gear shifting, optimum driveline efficiency, quieter operation, protection against wear, pitting, and corrosion, seal compatibility and improved seal performance.
The hypoid gear set design demands that a high level of extreme pressure additive be utilized for long life performance of the ring gear and pinion. The high level of extreme pressure additive in a GL-5 type product can be aggressive toward yellow metals utilized in many standard transmissions or transfer cases.
BG Ultra-Guard® Heavy Duty will withstand the punishing effects of extreme heat and arctic conditions and is one of the few polymer-free gear lubricants to meet the stringent requirements of Ford engineering spec WSL-M2C-192-A. It can be used in all conventional and limited slip differential hypoid gear rear axles.

BG Ultra-Guard® is a revolutionary multi-purpose synthetic gear oil compatible with all car and truck applications calling for GL-5 gear oil. It provides superior thermal stability, smoother gear shifting, optimum drive line efficiency, quieter operation, protection against wear, pitting, and corrosion, seal compatibility and improved seal performance.
BG Ultra-Guard® provides the ultimate protection for drive line components. As a professional-use product, it is formulated for increased thermal stability, improved seal performance, quieter operation, and unsurpassed protection against wear, pitting, and corrosion.

The BG Drive Line Service Center provides a fast, easy, and clean way of servicing all types of automotive differentials, manual transmissions, manual transaxles and transfer cases in light- and heavy-duty vehicles.
Gear oil allows driveline components to function smoothly. Over time, it breaks down and becomes contaminated leading to worn gears, deposit formation and component failure.
BG Drive Line Service Center is the most complete self-contained machine of its kind on the market. Its unique snorkel tube manifold allows instant switching from fluid removal mode to new fluid or additive installation mode in just seconds. It carries its own used-fluid tank and handles new fluid or additive in containers from small bottles to 16 gallon drums.

Through normal operation, the bearings input and output shaft gears and gear teeth in manual transmissions are subjected to intense stress and heat. The result is chipping or flaking of bearings, which can result in looseness, or binding on the shafts. Gear teeth will become pitted and worn. Synchronizer sleeves may become scored so that they do not move freely on the hubs. These conditions produce a noisy, hard-shifting transmission and eventual failure.
Limited slip differentials are designed to transmit the major driving force to the wheel that has the most traction. Thus, useless spinning of a wheel in mud, snow or ice is minimized. However, when driving vehicles equipped with limited slip differentials, a loud chatter frequently occurs when the vehicle is turned. This problem is caused by stick-slipping between the plates because of too much friction.
BG Universal MGC® is designed to protect both conventional and limited slip differentials. It enhances lubricant film thickness and improves extreme pressure characteristics of any gear oil.

BG MGC® Multi-Gear Concentrate is an advanced gear oil supplement formulated to enhance lubricant film thickness and improve extreme pressure properties on gear surfaces under frictional conditions. Drivers will experience a number of benefits. It smoothes manual transmission shifting, reduces gear box temperature, reduces component wear, improves demulsability, enhances thermal stability, extends oil service life, and cuts maintenance costs.
Even when a metal surface looks smooth to the eye, it is rough and pitted under a microscope. This inherent roughness contributes to wear and can lead to eventual part failure. Bearings input and output shaft gears, and gear teeth in manual transmissions are subjected to intense stress and heat through normal operation. This stress causes chipping and flaking of bearings, worn gear teeth, and scored synchronizer sleeves. All of these conditions lead to a noisy, hard-shifting transmission and eventual failure.
BG MGC® is an innovative professional-use gear oil additive that enhances film thickness and strength, improves thermal stability and lubricant life, and smooths manual transmission shifting characteristics. It will reduce component wear, gearbox temperature, and limited slip differential chatter.
Rear Differential – Ensures that the outside and inside wheels are allowed to turn at different speeds, while still supplying power to the wheels
Driveshaft – Directs engine torque from the transmission to the differential
Transfer Case – In 4-wheel drive vehicles, drives two. Separate drive shafts that operate two individual differentials on the front and rear end
Transaxle – Contains the transmission and differential in front – wheel drive vehicles; transfers power to the front two wheels via half-shafts
