The air induction system provides a path for air to enter the combustion chamber. Proper air flow is critical for quick start up, smooth idling, acceleration, and overall engine performance.
Over time, carbon and varnish will coat the internal structures in the vehicle’s engine. These spongy deposits soak up fuel, restrict and misdirect proper airflow, resulting in poor engine efficiency, high stress on critical engine components and higher levels of harmful emissions.
This removes the carbon deposits and restores proper airflow into the combustion chamber, which will:
Modern vehicles are fuel injected, so fuel injection cleaning is a necessary maintenance service required on today’s cars, trucks and SUVs.
Carbon deposits form on the fuel injectors during normal driving conditions. Due to heat buildup and energy transfer, burned fuel leaves carbon deposits on piston valves and fuel injector nozzles that interfere with the spray pattern and flow of fuel. Yes, the fuel injectors must be cleaned on a as a scheduled maintenance in order to remove those deposits.
